We kicked off our new Series of Classes on March 30th, but there are still Workshops coming this Series! THURSDAY night, May 1st it’s a Country Western Workshop, 7-8pm Line Dancing, then 8-9pm Cowboy Cha-Cha. $25. per person. (One OR BOTH hours included in price).
This FRIDAY NIGHT, May 2nd, it’s an “Evening of Ballroom Dancing”! 7:30-8pm Waltz Lesson; then Dancing to a variety of DJ’d music from 8-10pm. $20 per person.
This SATURDAY NIGHT, May 3rd, our Weekly Swing Dance features: Flattop Tom & His Jump Cats! $25. Admission at the door includes a Swing Lesson 7:30-8pm; Band plays 8-11pm, Plus Coffee, Lemonade, Snacks, & Door Prizes! Free Parking. Couples & singles of all ages are always welcome!
This SUNDAY NIGHT, May 4th, it’s a Special Workshop in the Shim Sham Shimmy Line Dance! (Swing venues around the world close their nights with this 1930’s line dance). At PBDA we finish every Saturday Night with this dance!
*** Plan ahead for SATURDAY, MAY 17th, our “Frankie Focus Celebration”, honoring the legendary Lindy Hopper: Frankie Manning & The Savoy Style Lindy Hop! Guest Instructors: Rob & Diane van Haaren, from Texas, will join us for Lindy Hop Workshops that day. See our Current Schedule for details & plan to be part of the Celebration! The Alpha Rhythm Kings Band will come down the coast, from San Francisco, for our Saturday Night Swing Dance! ***

Since 1983, Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association (PBDA) has been bringing joy and connection to Southern California’s dance community. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dancer, our weekly classes and Saturday Night Dances are all about having fun, creating connections, making memories, and letting the music move you.

CLASSES
We offer a wide range of group classes and private lessons designed for dancers of all levels. We teach American Social Dancing - with an emphasis on leading & following and having fun! If you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, you’ll discover that dancing enhances your happiness and you’ll be glad you joined us!
DANCES
Saturday nights are when the magic truly comes alive. Our weekly Saturday night dances feature amazing live bands and kick off with a complimentary 30-minute Swing dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:00 PM, included with your admission (bands play 8:00 to 11:00 pm). Join us for an evening where the only thing that matters is having fun, one step at a time!
